Riding in Seoul Forest
Seoul Forest Park to be exact, is a relatively new park in Ttukseom. If you’re looking to burn away some fats and calories from all the Bulgogi you had, then this is the perfect destination to be on your itinerary. As you could actually spend quality time there without paying for anything!
Bicycles can be rented for FREE at multiple locations across Hangang river, just show your ID card, register and pick a bike that suits you.
We kick start our ride from Oksu as free bike rental is available here and it’s relatively close to Seoul Forest.
Our journey begins with taking the narrow slope opposite the rental shop, which is the entrance to Hangang River Park. We chose to ride left after the pillars with mural drawings and across a small wooden bridge to Seoul Forest.
[Directions to rental shop: Oksu Subway Station(Line 3, Stop 335), Exit #4,
At the exit, go left toward Poonglim-I-want apt. Once you’ve
walked about 100m, you should see the facility across the
road]

I’m pretty impressed with ecological restoration project for the main river of the city. I even managed to spot a few cranes, high flying across the river.
